The day that all the Muslim waited for have arrived. It is the first day of Syawal and everyone wake up early in the morning to celebrate the day that come once a year. Including me and my family.
We woke up before Subuh to prepare the food that will be served to the people who visit our house. Besides that, we also took a shower, ablution and then performed the Subuh's prayer together.
My father became the imam. After we have done all that, we gathered at the dining table to have breakfast. It is 'sunat' to eat before we go to perform our Eid's prayer at the mosque.
After we came back from the mosque, we visited the graveyard to read the Yaasin for our dead relatives. After that, people begin to visit other people's house so that they can apologize to each other, eat special food that can only be found when it was Eid's day such as 'lemang, ketupat and rendang', and for the children, they will received some money from the elders.
It can be said that many muslims are happy on that day. Anywhere you can hear laughters and see people's smile. That is the story for the Eid's version. Oh! Before I end this post, I would like to wish Happy Eid's Day to all. May your life will be filled with Allah's blessings. (^__^)
